These 3 statements can be the starting off point for anyone wanting to reduce the effects of substance abuse, whether it's in your home, your workplace or your community.
Whether you are a parent, an employer, a concerned citizen or an adult with a substance abuse problem, the Lloydminster Area Drug Strategy wants to help by providing information, and pointing you in the right direction to get the services you might need.
- Parents: Information on how to spot drug or alcohol problems in your child, how to educate your children about the dangers of drugs and alcohol and advice on building a strong, trusting relationship with your kids.
- Employers: Substance abuse in the workplace leads to reduced productivity and can be dangerous for co-workers and the public. Advice on how to deal with an employee abusing drugs or alcohol in the workplace, and tips on how to educate your workforce on the dangers of substance abuse.
- In Your Neighbourhood: Tips on how to spot and combat drug crime in your neighbourhood.
- Getting Help: Do you, or someone close to you, have a substance abuse problem? Find out how to spot drug and alcohol addiction and how to receive treatment.
